This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for West Central And Southwest
Florida.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

...DENSE FOG/SMOKE IMPACT...
Forecast conditions continue to favor the development of sea fog
later today into Tuesday over the northeast Gulf of Mexico ahead
of a cold front. Sea fog makes boating conditions hazardous due to
reduced visibility. The greatest potential for sea fog will be to
offshore to the north of Sarasota Monday...and then along our
entire coast Monday night into Tuesday. Wind turning south and
southwesterly Monday night and Tuesday morning would provide an
opportunity for the sea fog to impact travel along coastal
roadways. The threat for reduced visibility as a result of sea fog
will end later Tuesday or Tuesday night with the passage of a
cold front.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

...MARINE IMPACTS...
Elevated northeasterly winds and rough seas are expected over the
eastern Gulf of Mexico in the wake of a cold front Wednesday
through Thursday. These winds shift to an easterly direction
Friday into Saturday, but remain elevated. Cautionary to
advisory level winds are expected during much of the middle and
later portions of the week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today.
